Once Upon A Time (A Story of Marly)

Once Upon A Time in a small town called Pleasantville in the land of Polly Jean their lived a girl named Marleen Vaughan. Marleen was not what the townspeople had come to know her by, and in fact, everyone called her Marly.

Marly was a friendly girl. She was constantly surrounded by people who had come to love her. The ones that did know her and love her were always guaranted a wonderful time of laughs, sincerity, and compassion with a little sprinkle of vulgarity mixed in. Time with Marly was always a good time had by all.

But, this isn't a story about how Marly was a great person, or great friend; in fact, this girl named Marly had a special talent. Marly's talent made her famous in the world of Second.

Marly made the world beautiful by designing things for all the inhabitants to wear, and wear them proudly they did. Marly had so many love her designs that she opened a shop called Marly's. From that day, all could come and enjoy her creativity and designs.

Marly was a lovely girl, but in fact like so many in the world was what some might call strange. ,To yours truly's surprise, Marly would never allow compliments from her friends and loved ones about her amazing talents. And so, it was on one beautiful Sunday that someone named SugarKane set out to tell the story of Marly. I beautiful story of talent and friendship to last through the ages, and be told across the lands...

I can't even begin to say how cool I feel in this little number! (and believe me, I am not cool...)

You'll probably see me wearing this outfit again, since I just love it so much! The Aoharu jacket is fabulous, lots of these jean jackets are showing up on the grid and this one is one of my favorites. Pacadi glasses were a gift and I can't seem to take them off. I feel tough and rock n roll. (whatever that feels like) The boots are from a store called R2 that I stumbled into and they are great! Terrific quality and style and I feel oh so 80s!

It never fails, everytime I'm dressed totally casual I get invited to a posh place and have to completely change my outfit. Luckily, with this one I didn't have to do too much changing. One of my favorite new pieces of my wardrobe for this spring is the new jean jacket from Coco. It's simply fabulous! It can be dressed up or down so easily with the awesome sculpted collar. I can't take off the new curio vixen skins that I received as a gift from Gala. Simply amazing... These are some of the best skins I have ever seen. It says alot that I haven't changed my skin in days! And, I have to drool over the new Elle F hair by Launa Fauna just a little bit. It's a beautiful updo (and I tested the lag factor at the Clothing Fair, and it is fabulous) The price is just right too. You get it in all colors for under 200L.

Review Bebae Coral Skins

These skins are absolutely amazing! I have to say that they have replaced all others and I can't take them off. Friends have been drooling, and I haven't hesitated to show them off! The make up on the face is amazing and the detail on the body is exquisite. All the detailing I love is in these skins. The fingers, toes, collar bone, and back shoulders. (I've even found myself staring at the ears!) I'm not sure of the release date but I encourage you to start saving your L$ now because you are going to want to buy these in every makeup!

Day/Night Looks

I wanted to do something different, so I decided to show my versions of a day look and night look. (Of course I took the change in time of day to the extreme by changing my skin and hair, but let's be honest...this is why we love SL) The day look was worn all around town, to the King's Rezzable Egyptian Party (because I refused to change clothes again) and to Ballet Pixelle's performance (I admit it wasn't ballet friendly, but I stuck to my refusal to change clothes until the night look). The night look was the look I prepared to wear while attending the Date for Down Under auction (which was an extreme success). I fell asleep in this outfit because the auction ran late. Maitreya Magic

The only thing worse than taking a vacation from SL and needing to shop everywhere to catch up on all the releases you missed is more new releases. But, I have to say that the Maitreya new releases are definately not a bad thing, they are amazing and pure magic. I rarely buy the colors that are on display but I fell in love and had to buy it. The colors complimented each other so nicely. I paired it with an old favorite pair of jeans from League which have remained some of my most worn jeans for quite some time.

And this outfit brings an end to my Valentine's Day outfits. I survived the entire day without wearing red or pink. I urge everyone to go and spend some $ on something they love.

I must admit, it's feeling good to be back. It only took me about a day to get used to the lag all over again. Whew! I've had to catch up on alot of shopping, alot of new designers, and alot of gossip. Thanks to my wonderful girls in FashCon Cafe for catching me up on as much as they could in one day. I decided to feature a some new favorites with an old favorite, and while I was playing with opposites decided to make those use the colors of black and white. (Which of course made me think of a racing flag) Ladies and Gentleman- Start Your Engines! I am back in the blogging business!

First up - New hair, skin and eyes. The hair is from Lamb which is quite lucious, and the skin is Leona from Redgrave (mmm, delicious). I picked the eyes from Deviant Girl because they were called sugar and I couldn't resist, but I now love them so much. They have beautiful coloring, and although they are much less realistic than what I normally choose, they are ravishing with the contrast of dark hair.

Next new feature - The bomber Jacet from Coco. Coco wasn't really on the grid when I took my va-cay from SL, but I can see why it is now. Great Textures, Fit, and we know how I love my sculpted clothing attachments.

I layered the Coco Jacket over my black Armidi Jumpsuit and finished out the white with the Coco belt and Kensington boots from Tesla. These boots were also hot on the grid, but there is a reason why, I absolutely love them. And they are the only boots that influenced me to take off my Stiletto Moody Croc boots for a bit.

Sorry Ya'll - I just don't have that much left to say I simply have too much shopping to do!

This sweater looked so soft and comfy that I decided to soften all the pictures as well. I've been completely addicted to Ce Cubic Effect lately. Now more than ever. They have perfected the knit texture in my opinion, and I'm such a huge fan of sculpted clothing. I am also in love with the new skins from Adam N Eve. Sachi sent me some demos just to tempt me, probably because she knows how weak I am. And, of course... I ran over and bought some. They are absolutely beautiful.

Choo Choo!

I see all the Christmas trees and snow surrounding us in SL, but I just can't seem to get Fall/Autumn out of my mind. I live in the south, and we are not quite in winter yet. (Not that we ever are) So, you will not see me bundled up as a snow bunny just yet, even though I promise I have the inventory of winter clothing to delight you for months. :)

For today's outfit, I was inspired by all the holiday travel. Travel by train has always intrigued me. Although, after watching the Sex and the City episode; I guess it's not as glamorous as my imagination... Thankfully, I have SL to keep it a beautiful dream.

And now, the most important part of my train ride... The clothes!

There have been some great new releases lately. In this outfit I used new releases from LeeZu Baxter and the amazing, beautiful, comfortable boots from Stiletto Moody. I couldn't go on any trip without my animals, so I am carrying my cat in the Z Bag from Zoobys. One of the most versatile unique bags in SL. I love it!

I am just adoring the cold front that recently came through my hometown. I've been bundled up by the fire reading all day. It's inspired me to continue dressing in lots of layers in SL. I think I've decided to just continue wearing jackets throughout the summer in SL.. afterall, fashion is all about being different :)

Now I show off a little fun comfy and fashionable number. I took this look straight to the bookstore where I shot these pics. First off the bag, I thought this bag was perfect to carry my favorite book. It is the everyday tote by ETD. Hurry over and grab it while everything is on sale. You can't beat the prices on the fatpacks right now. And the AO with the bag is amazing. All the shots I took were using the AO built in to the bag. It's not my usual walk and stand, but I really do enjoy it. I kept extra warm in the plush winter jacket by Ibizarre which I found in their discount outlet store. Again, great price and this jacket is so well made. Everyone has been blogging the yeti jacket from Muism, but if that is out of your price range than the Ibizarre jacket is a perfect substitute. I have to admit, that one of my favorite all time shows was Arrested Development. I love the repeat chicken reference from Gob, and one of the best episodes is when the entire family makes their version of "acting like a chicken".

Okay, so this outfit is Heron not Chicken. But it's still feathers and it made me think about that.

Now to the fashion... I seriously can't get enough of Paper Couture's new line. I know it's been blogged... A LOT... But, I still feel the need to express my love. It's fab and if you don't own most of it already, you should be like the rest of the fashion universe and go buy it. Come On! It's not very often that I wear an outfit purely "off the rack." But I saw the Gaya Girl outfit at Bijou and I have to say, it is coordinated perfectly. The yellow against the soft sea green and grey is beautiful. I also took the photos on the grand staircase at Bijou. I decided to stay as casual as possible and chose the Chunky Ribbon Boots from Shiny Things. Ladies, do invest in the HUD. You will have matching laces for every outfit under the sun, and even moon for that matter. Hair was only 30 Lindyloos at ETD's sale. (going on until December 26th).

On a slightly cool autumn day...

...I decided to explore nature a little and found myself in a beautiful cave. I dressed in layers and cuddled up so that the cool breeze in the air wouldn't force me out of the lovely surroundings too soon. I bundled up in the Mary Ann Sweater from Skin Flicks. It's just beautiful and warm and sculpted, oh how I love my sculpted clothing! I decided to dress it down with the Distressed Denim Skirt from Detour, but to make sure my legs stayed warm I wore the black argyle leggings from BP*. For my feet, I paired the new J's 2 way Boots in beige with the mokomoko socks in green from *UnTone Quilt*. I stuffed all my must haves in the Horseshoe bag from Bare Rose. Let my hair down with MMS Messy Hair, and sported my new favorite eyes from [Bingo]. Last, but not least, I went with makeup in browns from [Rockberry].

Have I said how joyful I am that autumn is upon us? Geez.. I did? I can't say it enough! I can't tell you how much fun I have dressing in layers in both RL and SL. I haver lots of fun with accesories in SL but in RL I am truly organic. I like all the different layers to be fabric.
This outfit was particularly inspired by the new hats and scarves at Baiastice. (blog about that coming soon) Sissy has outdone her self. I personally think that everything in her shop is beautiful but I am so fond of the hat and scarf sets. Every color under the sun is available, I am wearing the rainbow version. There are matching hats that come in the set, but I decided to stay low-key and chose the Jade hair from Maitreya in Caramel. It was nice not having to fight my usually too big hair with a seperate hat. Of course I'm saying hair, because I don't think I have a big head at all. :) The dress is from *RunoRuno*, home to some of the lowest priced great fashion finds. What is low? Everything is 0L or 50L. This dress was 50L and SO well worth it. The textures and fit are amazing! My leggings are from Corduroy. Ladies, patterned leggings are in, in, in, this season. Go and grab some up and be the talk of the town.

The boots are the new billow boots from Maitreya, they are just dreamy. I love all my footwear from Maitreya. Great fit, great texture, and oh so comfortable!

I went to the Kudos Fashion show on Sunday and Annah Whitfield dropped the cutest dresses on me. Luckily they were the dresses I was ooing and aahing about on the runway. First up I give you the Camila dress in Red. Sure it looks like a summer dress, but pair it with some leggings, boots and a scarf and you've got one hot autumn outfit. I especially love the bows in the back. I'm like a present, all wrapped up and ready to go!

Black, my favorite color ever is the color of the second dress I tried on. The Rita dress is a beautiful strapless floor length satin dress. This dress moves beautifully, and it's so elegant with the gloves. Great shape, beautiful texture, and again I love the bow at the waist. I truly feel like a vintage vixen.
Last but not least is the Lilith dress in bronze. Who know casual could be so elegant? I especially love the skirt on this dress. The top is beautiful and detailed. And what is especially great is that I can take the skirt off and go swimming. That's right. The top is actually a swimsuit. Ladies, I know summer is over. But in bronze I think this dress transitions well into autumn. Be daring and take a swim in the cold water.

I decided to show off my extra long legs one last time before the cool breeze decides to remain with me until next spring. I chose the ultra short and yet still chic Dead Naga skirt from Kyoot Army. This is the first item I bought from KA before I was hooked. It was a bit windy out so I covered up with the Short Leather Jacket from Ce Cubic Effect. It's sculpty, has great detail, and is oh so warm. The only way I can show off my legs is with stiletto heels. And the only stiletto heels that are worth wearing are from Stiletto Moody. These shoes definately make me feel like a woman!

Well here it is. My first ever naked post. Lorac realised the new Pulse skins and I have to say they are FABULOUS. So fab, I told Lorac I would pose naked in her skin. (something I have never done before, as I am quite modest) These new skins are unbelievable. I was there on the release date and all I heard was "OMG Lorac.. These are amazing nipples" (I have to say they are) Each skin/makeup comes with 18 options. (3 skin sheens, and blonde/brown/black hair options) Pretty amazing for the low price of 1200L. Do hurry and buy these. They are unbelievably hot and you won't be disappointed.

Not necessarily fashion but I just had to blog about the cutest outfit ever! I have a friend that loves dressing up tiny from time to time and he has so much fun. I never have ventured into it... until now! There is a Tiny Clothing collection at HatPins and I feel so in love with this Sirenia dress and hat that I bought the outfit first before I even had an avatar. The textures are beautiful.. It looks like pure silk. My next stop was an avatar. I went to Wynx's and decided on the tiny squirrel.
I once had a friend that thought squirrels were just rats with furry tails, but I don't agree with her at all. They are adorable and I just love when they come visit me outside in my yard.
So.. here I am.. Tiny and TOO CUTE!

Okay.. So, a friend told me how well this outfit matched my house and I decided to shoot the photos there. Welcome to my cozy home. And now, on to the outfit!

Thank you Cachet for the new season. Oh it's dreamy. I haven't even begun to break my bank. The accessories are just as exciting as the purses. My first dress to show off from the new season is the Nicolette dress in Gray. I love Love LOVE sculpty clothing. And you can just see how deliciously soft this fabric is. The dress comes with a belt, but I opted not to wear the belt and substituted a big brown belt to go with my yummy brown leather boots from Jaywalk. Continuing with the yummy brown leather theme.. I give you the Fedora from League! It's great and you can change the colors and sizes with a click of a button. I decided on a medium length hair in blonde for contrast and this hair from Abyss does the trick. It's not flexi, which normally I would turn my head at but I do love the style of this hair. And last but not least I am wearing my favorite ever skin... Rockberry!

Food Drives are Hot!

This post is less about fashion and more about charity. My complete outfit was inspired when I volunteered at a food frive to help replenish the shelters that are currently caring for those affected by the devastation of Hurricane Ike. Yes, for those lucky enough to have homes left standing there are still homes without power, and I must tell you that while there was a "cold front" that came through it is still quite hot. I visited the New Orleans and Galveston SIMs in SL when taking the pictures of this outfit. Two places I hold dear in my heart which have suffered great tragedies in the past few years.

I urge all of you to help others during this time. Volunteer time or donate to an organization that helps those in need. Please remember the "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you" motto. Remember that we are all one country, and we are also one world. We are each other's neighbors and friends.

I have been forcing myself to workout lately so I decided that Sugar needed to as well. The first image that came to mind was Flashdance, one of my favorite movies of all time. I guess I'll call this outfit 80s chic. I started with the super cute mini dress in black from CE Cubic Effect, it's super short so I always see myself wearing leggings underneath. but I love sculpty clothing. I decided to cover up a little with the Mini Hood Jacket from Fishy Strawberry. I love this store, lots of super cute items and I even won an item from the lucky chair the moment I stepped foot in the store. My leggings from bijou have really cute stars on the thighs that match my star earrings from 69 perfectly. I finished off the outfit with the biggest bag in my inventory from Armidi Gisaci. (Ok I lie, I also have the pink flamingo bag from Royal Blue that is huge but I'm saving that for something else) The bomber tail hair from Shop Seu is some of the best 80s style hair I have seen in SL. And you can edit the textures on the hair tie balls so I can match any outfit you're wearing. Good Stuff. I'm definately Pretty in Pink, and green, and black. :-)

A dear friend of mine, Mimisoleil Dagger, had a one year anniversary party at her Cyberpunk Store Mimi A*Go*Go. Rather than cyber punk I tried to go cyber chic in my own Sugar way. I loved the end result so much that I wanted to write about it. I went to The Abyss to take my photos, since the ruined city look was the perfect backdrop. The focal point of the outfit is the fabulous Lady Minx jacket from Mimikri. I stumbled into Mimikri by accident a few months ago and have loved this clothing ever since. Great textures, and I am a complete addict of good textures. Leezu Baxter Designs, another great designer, provided the bottoms. This is a complete jumpsuit style outfit that has both skirt and short with sculpted roll up options. I chose shorts because I knew I wouldn't be dancing like much of a lady. The other super fab piece of this outfit are the Bax Coen Ankle Boots. It's amazing I haven't worn down the heels on these boots yet. I wear them too often... I know. Ce Cubic Effect really knows how to make clothing with sculpty parts and they did not disappoint me at all. The focal point of this outfit is probably the purse, which I love since I have played piano since I was a child. There are many more different patterns of this purse available at DP.

Fall, or Autumn if you prefer is finally here and I am so excited to start bringing out the layered clothing. Cool mornings, and warm afternoons are my favorite weather!

While waiting near the lucky chair at Zaara, something I completely admit to because that peacock dress is fabulous, I stumbled across the amazing Mitali Top and Maitri Jacket. I love this layered look and the textures are amazing. The Jacket vest flows perfectly and I adore the sculpty sleeves that came with the top. The jeans I can't seem to take off lately are from League. I am obsessed with these jeans so much I even added a little more booty (I enjoyed eating all the ice cream) ;)

Maitreya, some of my favorite shoes in SL, made the fabulous Bloom boots that are perfect to go over leggings or skin tight pants. The super cute purse is the Gordie Print Bag from Armidi Gisaci. I chose orange bracelets from ELDee just for contrast and because orange just says autumn to me.

In my favorite hairs from Shop Seu is the sexy hair. It flows great! I went all natural with my skin and opted for little makeup with a Gen. 3 skin from Aden. And I tried out some new eyes from OMFG which, yes I like!

Great... so now I'm totally singing that song in my head. I did wear my sunglasses at night as a kid, now I'm completely blind and can't see anything. Go figure! Being cool has it's consequences. And speaking of cool... man my ankles are killing me because I'm sporting the truly fabulous Stiletto Moody Stiletto Heels that are to die for! Ladies, it is worth the pain! These shoes are true works of art. They compliment my dress very nicely. Where did you get that dress Sugar? Oh so glad you asked! 50% of sale at Baiastice gave me this wonderful Geom Dress. I love the way it flows. I love the pattern. I love the price! I hide from the paparazzi, in my yummy bugeye glasses from H&V. I can't take these glasses off. They are so big and glamorous and the kind of glasses I only wish I could pull off in RL with my tshirt and jeans. (I can't, I've tried) ;) But, I can pull off fabulous pearl necklaces in RL and SL (ladies get your heads out of the gutter)...I'm talking about the black pearl necklace from Paper Couture. Trust me, this ain't your boyfriend's pearl necklace. A girl needs her necessities, and I decided to carry them all in the luxe Freja bag in black from Bare Rose Haute Couture. I've mentioned their purses before, but I can't stop telling you how great they are. Affordable and I can even fit in my kitchen sink. Don't believe me? Invite me over to do your dishes! My wrist stays warm with the Turkish Delight Bangles from Fresh Baked Goods. (Mmmm.. Do I smell cookies?)
My great makeup came from Redgrave. Redgrave has some of the most luminous skins in SL.. Silky... Shiny... Smooth... (Ooo.. now I need a bubble bath... ) So I could show off my skin, and dress, and necklace, and glasses, and shoes... you get the point right?) I had to pull my hair back with the Shop Seu Pompadour Hair. Eyes not mentioned since you can't see them ;)

First things first! Being a Texas girl, my thoughts go out to everyone in the Houston, Galveston, and surrounding areas. I have family I can't reach and have been glued to the news. Stay strong and be kind to one another!!!

I put this outfit together really quick at Sari's after I bought this tunic and wanted to share it with everyone. So quick.. I even took the pictures at Sari's. How's that for efficiency? ;-) One of the green fences was the perfect background.
This is such a comfy crossover outfit in between summer and fall. I'm not a huge fan of spring/summer colors like pastels and bright colors. So, I love the introduction of deep rich tones for the fall and winter. If you're looking for purses.. I highly recommend BareRose! Their purses are found at Bare Rose Haute Couture, and there are lots of styles and colors all reasonably priced just like everything you find at BareRose. My shoes from J's contain real toes. Which might sound kinda creepy, but for all of us who have suffered with open toe shoe fear in SL this is the perfect remedy. And my cute pedicured real toes have a toe ring to further accesorize.
Detour Hair and Rockberry Skins are my two favs, and I mention them often. Just pure fab!

I walked into Tres Jolie and sashayed out a new woman! Ladies, this shopping experience is top notch and truly the definition of high fashion. lota Ultsch takes care of her customers like the VIPs we know we all are. She helped me adjust all my clothing perfectly and even recommended the perfect pair of shoes from Maitreya to go with my new outfit. For the first time while fashion shopping in SL everyone in the store was talking and joking and it was so great and positive! I am in love with lota and Tres Jolie!

Le Sine en Aubergine is a lovely deep, rich shade of purple or eggplant if you will. And when I walk, my bow and skirt attachment gently glide in the wind. Oh.. it's so lucscious I truly am running out of words. Just go and shop at Tres Jolie it's a must and your clothing collection is lost without some of her pieces which are true works of art!

I wanted to keep all my attachments to a minimum so I stuck with my Monroe piercing (a freebie from Hair Fair) which I haven't been able to take off and a bracelet and earrings from Shiny Things.

Ok, I'll just say I'm a horrible writer lately. I got this lovely outfit nearly a month ago as a group special. I fell in love, and I forgot to blog it. I'm a huge fan of Punch Drunk and when the notice went out for this dress I had to have it. The fabric texture is pure yumminess, and don't get me started on how this dress flows.. It's casual and free and divine! I went with accessories from Mezzo and Spoon.

One of the clubs a friend works at had a Best in Black event, and I decided to forget the usual club gear and truly have fun with it, being a little naughty of course. The top and skirt from Digit Darkes have been in my inventory for a long time, and yet I never seem to wear them. I found these cute heels by S. Olbers while shopping at Mimikri one day. And I take a breath before I "virtually" go on and on and on about Detour hair. I have quickly filled up my inventory with Detour hair. I can't go on enough about how much I love it, it has quickly become my favorite hair in SL. I'm sure you'll see me wearing many styles. Nora Skins had a skin sale...100 Lindyloos each... I stocked up! I finally found a skin with black lipstick that didn't make me pale as a ghost. And the eyes came with a dark elf skin I purchased. For 100L who doesn't need a dark elf skin?!?

I'm making this one very quick. I rebuilt ReVolt! and I'm trying to put everything in place today. I bought this tube top wanting a sexy shirt that was more rock and less cute. This Red Ruin top is it! I paired it with Kari jeans, which is a must have in your jeans collection. Great detail, and they're super comfy. My Belt and Bracelet are from Mezzo, and so cute. I also got a leopard print version. I'll wear soon I'm sure. And, this might be the best free skin in SL. Thanks to Launa Fauna for treating her LF Chai group members like royalty!!!

OO.. I saw this shirt and I fell in love! I have so much from Gigi Couture, but this is definately my new favorite. I rocked out this outfit with tall boots from C-Shoes, short shorts (also from Gigi Couture, with prim attachments for pure puffyness) a jacket from Ce Cubic Effect, this jacket has prim attachments, and let me tell you.. I love jacket's with attachments. it gives it that great realistic look. and a great necklace from GBL. Go get this necklace now! It's worth every Lindyloo.. Color change so you can change the beads to match any outfit you were.
Now, the big question... Do I really kiss rock stars? Guess you'll never know!

I had the grand pleasure of being invited to the wedding of 2 close friends. It was a beautiful ceremony filled with many friends and lots of love between the Bride and Groom. I decided to wear black, since I didn't know the wedding colors. I normally like to color coordinate with the wedding colors so I don't look out of place and draw attention from the Bridal Party. I decided to wear my Aradia dress from Cachet, it always sits in my inventory but I never have anywhere to wear it. To add to the high fashion, less funeral I added a fabulous belt from Digit Darkes. I love this belt and wear it often! It's a great contrast against the black. I wanted all the attention to go to the dress, so I kept my accessories simple. The stillettos from Maitreya are perfect simple tasteful stilletto heels. I wore small heart earrings from Earthtones, and some beatiful bangles from Dahlinks. I pulled back my hair in a simple pony tail from Blooberry. And, for pure fabulousness the handbag comes with the dress.

Hippie Camper... or is it Happy Camper?

Every once in awhile, I go camping. The main reason isn't for lindens, which as many of us remember (it would take a week to save up for a new pair of shoes). I like meeting new people to SL. I like helping out those that are lost. And, I like giving old pieces of my inventory to those with great personalities in dire need. Of course, I have to dress the part. If I'm going camping, I want to dress to go camping. or at the very list a little on the hippie side :)
The shirt is from a men's store, Chase, but it complements the female figure well.
The shorts were a great second find on my quest to find a baseball cap at Argrace (see the previous blog). The accessories are all from Shiny Things.

Somedays, you just feel like pulling your hair back. I did a little windsurfing and parasailing today, and didn't really want to wear a bikini. I threw on this little number and fell in love with it. This shirt by Karamia has been a favorite of mine for a long time. I LOVE flexi attachments on my clothing. I like my clothing to move with me, and this shirt does just that. I have to say that this baseball cap is one of the only ones I've found that has a great texture and isn't too big for my head. And most importantly, the hair that comes with it is just as beautiful as the hat.

Troubled Youth

The new "Emo" look makes me laugh sometimes. Maybe I'm too old to understand how emotion is the same as fashion. Anways. I decided to mash up some things in my inventory and create my own "Troubled Little Girl" look. First off.. I love this Teddy Bear I picked up from !BC! He comes with an animation for you to hold him and you can purchase an animation and HUD to fly wih him as well. (I didn't, but I'm thinking about it. It's not right for your bear not to fly too..)
The top is from Tuli, and my skirt is from Kyoot Army. The Dead Naga skirt is one of the perfect mini skirts in SL. Super short, and highly detailed. I have alot of items from Canimal, but I especially love the mismatched socks. Perfect for those grungy days. Another one of my addictions? Prim nails. I love them. These are from Hex. Most ladies are addicted to eyelashes, and mine is nails. I tried lots of good glove style nails.. but it never was the same.
And now the best... Pornstar hi-tops! I can't even begin to say how many options come with these shoes. You can change nearly everything about them. I should have a blog just about these shoes. If you don't have these in your inventory, please go get them. You'll never need a pair of sneakers again!

I'm normally the girl that always chooses black, but I stumbled into MG fashion and I fell in love with this top. It comes with a 2nd flexi attachment for just under the chest, giving it that tucked in baggy look; but I opted for the fitted shirt look. I got lots of compliments while wearing this and I new I needed to share this find! I chose the blue beaded purse from Pampered Princess to accent the shoes (which came from Last Call). And opted to pull my hair partially back with Armidi Hair. Giving that perfect look of casual yet chic. My necklace is from Earthtones, and I wear this necklace so much. Earthtones does it right. High Quality, without the bling. Ladies, bling is bad!
All I can think of is to sing "hippie chic", while drinking my cosmopolitan of course!

It happens often in fashion that you plan your outfit around your amazing accessories. Rarely is your accessory larger than you. The moment I saw this horse from AKK Horse Ranch I bought him. He's a Fresian, and he has flexi long hair just like me. I waited to ride him until I found the perfect outfit. The detail of this horse is superior and I knew the detail needed to be parallel in my clothing of choice. Luckily I had a great outfit from Last Call that I got for the amazing price of 300L before it closed. Last Call closing was a sad day for many of us. The detail on the jacket is superb. All of their clothing was superb. Across the street from Last Call you could find Celestial Studios, where I purchased my hair. I love love love buying hair with the hat already attached. It takes my battle of matching a hair with a hat away...and my hair flows through the air as I speed through the trails on my horse.
