Maitreya Magic

The only thing worse than taking a vacation from SL and needing to shop everywhere to catch up on all the releases you missed is more new releases. But, I have to say that the Maitreya new releases are definately not a bad thing, they are amazing and pure magic. I rarely buy the colors that are on display but I fell in love and had to buy it. The colors complimented each other so nicely. I paired it with an old favorite pair of jeans from League which have remained some of my most worn jeans for quite some time.

And this outfit brings an end to my Valentine's Day outfits. I survived the entire day without wearing red or pink. I urge everyone to go and spend some $ on something they love.

Soft in Brown

This sweater looked so soft and comfy that I decided to soften all the pictures as well. I've been completely addicted to Ce Cubic Effect lately. Now more than ever. They have perfected the knit texture in my opinion, and I'm such a huge fan of sculpted clothing. I am also in love with the new skins from Adam N Eve. Sachi sent me some demos just to tempt me, probably because she knows how weak I am. And, of course... I ran over and bought some. They are absolutely beautiful.

Choo Choo!

I see all the Christmas trees and snow surrounding us in SL, but I just can't seem to get Fall/Autumn out of my mind. I live in the south, and we are not quite in winter yet. (Not that we ever are) So, you will not see me bundled up as a snow bunny just yet, even though I promise I have the inventory of winter clothing to delight you for months. :)

For today's outfit, I was inspired by all the holiday travel. Travel by train has always intrigued me. Although, after watching the Sex and the City episode; I guess it's not as glamorous as my imagination... Thankfully, I have SL to keep it a beautiful dream.

And now, the most important part of my train ride... The clothes!

There have been some great new releases lately. In this outfit I used new releases from LeeZu Baxter and the amazing, beautiful, comfortable boots from Stiletto Moody. I couldn't go on any trip without my animals, so I am carrying my cat in the Z Bag from Zoobys. One of the most versatile unique bags in SL. I love it!

Happy Anniversary Mimi A*Go*Go!

A dear friend of mine, Mimisoleil Dagger, had a one year anniversary party at her Cyberpunk Store Mimi A*Go*Go. Rather than cyber punk I tried to go cyber chic in my own Sugar way. I loved the end result so much that I wanted to write about it. I went to The Abyss to take my photos, since the ruined city look was the perfect backdrop. The focal point of the outfit is the fabulous Lady Minx jacket from Mimikri. I stumbled into Mimikri by accident a few months ago and have loved this clothing ever since. Great textures, and I am a complete addict of good textures. Leezu Baxter Designs, another great designer, provided the bottoms. This is a complete jumpsuit style outfit that has both skirt and short with sculpted roll up options. I chose shorts because I knew I wouldn't be dancing like much of a lady. The other super fab piece of this outfit are the Bax Coen Ankle Boots. It's amazing I haven't worn down the heels on these boots yet. I wear them too often... I know. Casual Sunday

Somedays, you just feel like pulling your hair back. I did a little windsurfing and parasailing today, and didn't really want to wear a bikini. I threw on this little number and fell in love with it. This shirt by Karamia has been a favorite of mine for a long time. I LOVE flexi attachments on my clothing. I like my clothing to move with me, and this shirt does just that. I have to say that this baseball cap is one of the only ones I've found that has a great texture and isn't too big for my head. And most importantly, the hair that comes with it is just as beautiful as the hat.

Cowgirl Mystique

It happens often in fashion that you plan your outfit around your amazing accessories. Rarely is your accessory larger than you. The moment I saw this horse from AKK Horse Ranch I bought him. He's a Fresian, and he has flexi long hair just like me. I waited to ride him until I found the perfect outfit. The detail of this horse is superior and I knew the detail needed to be parallel in my clothing of choice. Luckily I had a great outfit from Last Call that I got for the amazing price of 300L before it closed. Last Call closing was a sad day for many of us. The detail on the jacket is superb. All of their clothing was superb. Across the street from Last Call you could find Celestial Studios, where I purchased my hair. I love love love buying hair with the hat already attached. It takes my battle of matching a hair with a hat away...and my hair flows through the air as I speed through the trails on my horse.
